Today is surgery day for this amazing woman! She is many things but a victim to cancer is not one of them! Leah is one of my favorite client's who now feels more like a friend! I have watched her journey like so many and cannot help but feel so inspired by how she has handled herself.

Back in the Summer right after her diagnosis Leah contacted me and wanted to do a family session as soon as possible! I moved things around and got her in and of course the evening was nothing short of amazing! She is a lover of that summer golden haze and God made sure there was no shortage on that glorious July evening!

The entire session was just such a special time. The love they share is overwhelming! So strong, so real and so honest!  Without a doubt with their love and God's grace they can tackle and beat any obstacle life throws at them! I am so honored to have had the opportunity to photograph such an emotional moment in their lives!

To Leah, I respect you so much as a woman, a mother, a wife. You are the true definition of a strong, FIERCE, loving, admirable woman! Endless prayers to you all for a speedy recovery! I can't wait to photograph your family again this Summer when all of this is just a thing of the past!
